Try ebay, when some scrote nicked my badges, got new uns on ebay. VERY cheap!

Fitted a new tank to mine last year, old one was split. New un cost £18 from land rover dealer. Then £3 for new lid as it was different.

Your best having the timing belt done aswell as a new water pump. I was advised that, so passing it on to you. :)

Had me head gasket go. All repaired now, Got it done cheap at brother in laws garage. But, now, some toerag has nicked my landrover badges off the side. The tw-ts have used a screw driver n scratched the body work. Any idea on price of new uns? Trying e bay at the moment.:mad: GRRRRR

Mine went two weeks ago, 108k miles on the clock. Didn't cook the engine, but, still needed head skimming. Changed water pump and timing belt while they were at it. Good luck!

What are your tyres like? Had a rumbling on mine, thought a wheel bearing was on its way out. Turned out to be the tyre. Swapped tyres around and the rumbling moved. When i replaced tyres, hey presto, no rumbling. Good luck with the motor, n welcome to landyzone.

Mine went on Sat morning, just come off of motorway to top of slip road. Conked out, started again, then temp gauge went over half way. Managed to free wheel to layby where on lookin could see a mess!. Gunk in oil, but the cooling fans were still running! Only time they have! Started and drove...

screwed mine on, but be careful. can only use short self tappers cos of bits in door fer when window goes down!

mine was loosing water, It cured mine! My fans never come on and the temp never goes above halfway. I've done over 50k in mine too! Mine also recircs to the tank on start up. Would be worried if it dint!
