Once bolted back in place I can see what you mean there's nowhere near enough play, I don't know if im been clear, it was more like the bearing had come off than the shaft itself physically coming out of the transmission hub. But it wasnt driving that side of the vehicle

I have a fuse that runs loosely across the in car fuse board. Its in its own independent fuse box, yellow and has black electric tape wrapped around the wires. Is this supposed to be there if so what for. Or is it aftermarket. Thanks
