    Oh brilliant! Glad it went ok and your happy with it? How long was it off the road mate? Still havnt done mine mate- had a baby so landy got put on back burner for abit! Gonna get cracking soon tho- want it in for summer. At least now I know who to ask if I get stuck haha.

    only benefit of fitting front axle is if it has narrower hub ends so allow greater choice in wheels ,transfer box would be good ,rad assembly will fit if frame modded

    Going to keep both axles off the disco just incase. Eventually would like to fit rear on but would want new brakes first and the toy fund has taken a beating lately.

    Very nice mate! Sounds like we'll be doing the swap about the same time. I've been getting bits along the way mate, just picked up a pair of rear sliding windows for the side panels cheap as chips on eBay! Are you going to be using the rear axle off the disco mate? If you ever need a hand with anything John, just ask mate.

    I bought a k reg disco for £460. In the middle of ripping it apart at the moment. Not to sure when i`ll get time to fit it but I have a 2 week shut down the first 2 weeks of august. So if it doesnt get done sooner. Spending ages on here reading all the threads. Have you got the donor bits yet?

    Hi John, sorry for late reply- havnt been on lately.
    I'm doing the swap the last week in july- my mates got a garage and he's going away that week, so he's letting me use his ramp and tools which is handy!

    Dont know of any clubs, think north wales would be the best bet. Great idea waiting for the weather to cheer up, i`m hopefully doing the swop in the summer.
    I`ve asked santa for a few landy bits so will have to wait and see what comes.

    Hiya John, how's it goin mate? Not goin to bother conversion till spring mate- till it warms up a bit! The 19j engine in it at mo has really surprised me- it starts first time, pulls from the lights and cruises at 60! Do you know of any land rover clubs round here? Hope your well, chris

    I have a D reg 90 truck cab. I havent done any offroading due to lack of time really, I just enjoy using the spanners and occasional big hammer
