When my thermostat was bad on my Td5, it would always go well into the 90s since the coolant wasn't being circulated. New thermostat and waterpump and it sits at 85-87 warmed up, occasionally would hit 90-91 on high-boost extended uphills.

After I did the starter motor it would then start up immediately, but that revealed a new problem of very rough running after it was started for the first 5-10 seconds. Haven't sorted that out yet and my nanocom isn't showing anything unusual either.

Thanks Sierrafery, that info is helpful to even those of us whose Td5's are running well. I'd first though stick an SD card in your Nanocom and record data during a run when the problems are happening and graph it out. It could be that a sensor is going bad and the ECU is compensating for it...
