That's what confused me as it's originally registered in 1969 (G plate) which would make it a late S2a. The asking price is 4.3k but needs a fair bit of work although the pics look decent it's full of filler and then hand roller painted. Rear Xmember needs replacing but rest of chassis is okay...

Depends how far we're going. anything over 5 miles and you can't get in the back for support equipment. Sorta like Thunderbird 2 without the pod ;)

I intend to hold on to my Defender because I love owning, driving and repairing the bloody thing when it goes wrong and not because I want to make a few quid out of it. I couldn't give a toss what the resale market value is. No disrespect intended of course :)
