It cost him £2m?! Didn't realise conversions were that dear 12 years ago. I've heard a lot of good things about LPG conversions but have never seen one on a Defender. I guess most of the Mercedes S class conversions don't do quite the same type of miles as the Defender V8's :D

Thanks for the post, looks very useful and a good little write up. Definitely making note of this one. Incidentally you pretty much drove right past my parents house too! Nice area, suspect there's some great laning to be had round there.

Better keep an eye on this, trying to get some ideas on some good lanes in the Basingstoke/Hook/Alton area! Where abouts are Bluebell Woods? Need to go and buy a decent map...
