Mine has got air con as it is an xs. I have been looking and i think the wiring is right it just has not got the sensors fitted but the conections look to be there, thanks for the imput

Want to fit the digital heater control in my 2000 discovery td5 what else will i need please have got the digital control any advice much appreciated thanks.

I will be doing the work myself as i have got plenty of spare injectors so the cost will not be that bad as it is just the job of programming the ecu that concerns me i have the obd2 interface but can not seem to find software that will allow me to write to the ecu

They seemed to be coming from down where the starter is situated this happened after i got the vehicle home and recharged the battery when the car actually cut out there was no smoke,it just died no noise nothing just died,then when battery recharged after all the sparks and a lot of turning...

i thought that myself but somebody said head gasket but it is not losing any water and oil is good,there was a load of sparks inside the engine compartment so i wondered if there had been some kind of short causing one of the injectors to malfunction thanks for your feedback.

I had this problem,If you undo the air bleed connection on the diesel filter there is a small valve remove it, then reconect and try starting it

When u say relay do u mean electrical when it breaks down i can hear what sounds like air going into the filter

I have recently bought a discovery td5 very happy with it but all of a sudden it has started playing up,I drive for about 4 miles it just cuts out,I can hear anoise from the back which i suspect is the fuel pump,give a few turns of the key and it does another 4 miles i can hear the pump again...
