Is there a difference between a Defender chassis and a 1985 Land Rover 90's, Im looking at fitting a steering guard and want to make sure it fits before I order. Any help would be good :P

it was the trail from brighstone to carisbrook i was looking at but will stay well clear now, glad i didnt drive it

a no motor vehicles sign (red circle with a car and a motorbike) and underneath written "except for permit holders apr-30 sept and access, what does it all mean! dont want to drive it without knowing if i can legally do so first

Noticed my front wheel covered in oil, removed the wheel to reveal the hub cap pouring differential oil out and thats put the 90 out of action! :( Does anybody know what the cause could be? Im presuming the seal behind the hub has perished but before i delve to deep with my trusty haynes manual...

Can anybody recommend a snorkel to fit a 1985 2.5 N\A landrover 90? Will a 200tdi unit be ok with the vent cut into the side of the wing?

The rear door on my 1985 90 seems to be becoming quite rattly when out and about. It has the spare wheel attached to the back and im worried that it might fall off at some point! Is there any way to strengthen/reinforce the rear door?

what size boat are we talking? i raised the titanic last weekend would it hold that? lol

200 tdi it is then! the 2.5 in it atm only has 93'000 on it so ill rack a few more miles onto it 1st! would the 2.5 be worth much?

I know they are not built for speed i just feel lacking power on certain inclines on and off road where my friends 200tdi tackles fine in high box! :S

Thank you for the advice, going to start on it tonight when its a bit cooler :) going to explore some vehicle allowed byways on the island first before I put the 90 out of service for a few days!
