front hub is bleeding differential oil, please help!

Noticed my front wheel covered in oil, removed the wheel to reveal the hub cap pouring differential oil out and thats put the 90 out of action!

Does anybody know what the cause could be? Im presuming the seal behind the hub has perished but before i delve to deep with my trusty haynes manual any advice would be greatly appreciated...

re read it,was thinking swivel hub seal.
if it is the rubber end cap renew it as perished or flange gasket leaking

cheers for the advice, ill strip it down tomorrow and then source the parts. youtube is full of helpful videos, so armed with those and my trusty haynes away i go!

Firstly it's not going to put you out of action as long as you keep the diff topped up.

Secondly before you go ripping the hub assembly apart, consider replacing the rubber dust cap first, most of the time this takes some abuse through weather etc and leaks before any other area and the fault may just be that.

They cost a few quid and a minute to fit.
