I've fixed one of the leaks on my injection pump. The throttle shaft,brass bush, rubber o ring and gasket have all been replaced. Took the top off the pump and took it to local diesel specialist who supplied and fitted the parts for £35. Took it home refitted everything and bingo she's running...

Ok got it now, Might also have to double check valve clearance as it was dark and raining and only checked that none of the lock nuts were lose and the posts were still tight, even forgot to look at the caps to make sure one of those hadn't gone, none of the loose rockers were moving very much...

Your right on with your point, I did try comparing the actual viscosity test results from each technical data but they are done using each manufactures testing technique not a standard test so near impossible to compare by your average person and probably difficult for someone who understands...
