Land rover 1994 200TDi green reg K847EYW about 0200 and 0745H on the 6th 11 15.

07/11/15 21:20H Just had a phone call from police
They change the number plates and try / ran over a officer but veh stop. Person in side fled all lock us steering lock smashed wire pulled out to short start. All alarms turned off plus tracker, windscreen smashed plus side widows. she is now with forensic. this is all they will tell me now!????? I hope they may find dna / finger prints to help stop other one being stolen..
Thank you all for just letting me speak out this is a polish group so if see a car with Pl or RU on the number plates TAKE the number it may help the police.

Yea, we should have one of those groups started up in this county. You know, I think they call them the powleese or something. It might just work.

The majority of tratters only have basic protection which is well known so they're an easy target. I did try to get peeps to etch windows but for every 1 person who does it there's significantly more who say it's a waste of time. Same goes for alarms. Your vehicle your risk.

I'm that paranoid my security increases every week.
Unfortunately though it takes me a good few minutes to disable and activate it all. But in my mind it will take someone longer without the keys and might be enough for them to walk on past or give up.

Getting paranoid, if it was not winter I'd move the dog bed into the truck, be a brave man to wake my pooch! going to start thinking about security now n e 1 have a spare bear trap that they leave on the drivers seat covered by a towel, or maybe a battery acid from dash spray system...

Getting paranoid now need a bear trap on the driver seat covered by a towel or a dash mounted battery acid spray system. would move the dog bed into the car but winter coming. going to try and come up with some slightly more passive systems first, "this land rover will self destruct in 3 - 2 - 1, how many languages should I have it displayed in?

One of the benefits of nicking a tratter or disco 1/2 is it won't be long before they fall apart. Could be why they're attractive to thieves who want to strip them to sell the parts...

ok high power strobe lights inside and outside wired into hidden battery and placed behind metal cages....that's passive right?

is it maze spray the cops use? there must be a decent legal deterrent, are tasers actually legal? a gas charged hood/noose that comes from the head rest definitely not legal but would prevent re offending! Think I might weld some chain to the gear sticks and add a large padlock and do similar to the pedals, maybe a bit of box section under the pedals padlocked into place.

My disco has an airbag in the steering wheel, not difficult to wire that into the ignition with a hidden kill switch....

I of my friends have hidden a old phone wire to charger and put a pay as you go card in and set it to meeting ( no ring tone ). If his goes walk about he can give the police the number so it can be track throw the phone. If the car tracker is turned off this is a back up.

Next door but one regularly leaves the keys in his, he can't give it away! Yet my shed is attacked all the time

Anyone got a cattle fence bit of kit. Only low volts but big belt, wired into convenient metal part, like door handle, gear shift or handbrake , Needs warning notice displayed somewhere ?
