Evening, the top and bottom ball joints that attach the stub axle on my front axle are quite worn. Parts look cheap enough but anyone any experience of changing them? Any special tools needed or just plenty of heat?

My td5 seams a bit gutless below 2000rpm, remember having similar issues with VW vans before and the air mass meter was faulty wondering if it could be the same. Just checked the resistance on the meter and was wondering if anyone knows what they should be?

Just checked the book pack and the security card has nothing written on it for the locking wheel nut maybe fitted after purchase, checked everywhere in the car and the bag with the jacking handles etc got the cap removal tool. Will try the dealer but looks like I'll end up doing the above as...

The roof mounted interior light on your vehicle is not original, it could be specked as a factory option and this was operated from a dash mounted rocker switch. More commonly seen on the station wagon versions
