Sorry, tailgate. I've just tried locking it with tailgate window open slightly, 5 or 6 attempts, no need but the horn went on one occasion.

The alarm pips the horn when you set it (occasionally) and when you try to open a door when the car is locked the alarm will go off (again occasionally) it's probably 50/50 if it's going to work or not. I need to find some time to have a good poke around. Thanks I hope so need to get them both...
