    Sounds like the cat is blocked up , had same prob before with an astra same complaints and it also put back pressure into engine drivng oil out of dipstick . try unbolting exhaust before the cat and see if the engine runs better . If it is the cat you can break out the inside to get you moving...

    is it possible to lift a freelander???

    Lifting a freelander is done by spacers ontop of the struts , so yes your going to be 50mm or 40mm higher up depending on the spacers you use . and you don't lift axles on the freelander !!:confused: and you only have to get speedo re-callabrated if you also use bigger wheels to give more of a lift

    yeah thats the 1 they goin for about £80 on ebay with the diff pipes to re route , just put a thermostat with center cut out in the original housing and thats job done . Be carefull when tightening bolts on the housing as if you over do it it leaks
