I am thinking of going down the synergy 2a route.
On searching the forum there are lots of posts praising the unit four or five years ago.
Is anybody still running one of these?
And are they still giving good results?
I want one for towing my caravan and possibly saving some fuel...

Yesterday did a service .
Did the fuel filter which was as all say a pain..
The original filter had the arrow pointing to the rear of the car.
This didn't seem right so the replacement has gone in pointing towards the front of the car .
Which is right????

Over the last few months I have been chasing an issue with the temperature gauge not getting higher than a third of the way up .
Did the Renault 5 inline made no difference .
Changed reservoir cap made no difference.
Was looking at getting a new expansion bottle as there has some crazing...

Hello I have replaced the pulley
The one that came off didn’t look too bad.
With the newer pulley fitted( with new bolt) the noise is still there when the air conditioning is turned on.
I am now thinking the ac coil might have failed preventing the two clutch faces staying together.

Hello there, I am also new but have the same noise. Mine is related to the air conditioning compressor clutch assembly.
Which I replaced at the end of last summer after the clutch surfaces disintegrated.
Everything is fine until under load the same noise as you described comes back.
So either...
