Removed spare wheel and carrier from rear door, was suprissed how heavy it was, no wonder the doors drop! Also wired up 2002 TD5 dash to my 300tdi wiring, not fun but glad its all working now.

New: a-frame ball joint, rear bushes and bolts, mud flap brackets, drop link ball joint, all steering ball joints. Replaced old brake fluid, changed both diff oil (was ****ed to find rear diff oil was new). Changed engine oil and filter. Replaced all engine pulley bolts. Re-fitted centre rocker...

Front axel rebuild continues: Front hubs and callipers on with all new bearings, gaskets and seals, nearly there now.......... I'll post some pics when done.

Front axel back in, hocky sticks bolted up, prop on. Also fitted both overhauled swivel housings, front springs and shocks. Mmmmm its looking nice and shiney under there, POR15 all the way. Can't wait to get it back on the road:)

Britpart Swivel ball kit includes swivel seal and securing plate but no gasket to go under the plate. Is it okay to fit plate with no gasket? Haynes Manual shows gasket. Urgent Help Needed As Want To Fit Hubs Back On Car Today!!! (Don't worry I didn't use crap ****part bearings or seals)

Removed other hub, first took 4hrs, second took 1hr. I'm well chuffed, although swivel is pitted and will need replacing. Brought an air ratchet and impact wrench, wow what a difference should have bought them years ago. Having the right tools makes all the difference.:)
