glow plug timer relay, big black one on the outside of the fuse box, just unplug it.

had that happen on one of my 300tdi's and it turned out to be the hand brake shoes, could be worth a look.

300tdi auto been as good as gold best landrover i'v owned untill about 3 weeks ago. locking started playing up had to press the button 5 or 6 times for the doors to unlock then after the engine started it would cut out in a matter of moments start it again and all would be well, drove to work...

newby on site, write a letter to the council asking the o licence holder what the working hours are for drivers, council refuse collections are mostly task and finish. ie drivers don't take a brake. ask to see the drivers log book or taco print even the front cover of the book will not be filled...
