    inverters

I have had a couple of 2000w units in my work van and am currently using a ring unit which so far is OK. I've had 3 waeco units which I would advise against - supposed to be one of the best but in my experience not( one set on fire!) If u are going to mount it goes without saying keep it high...

    Diff Guards

Just bought front & back QT guards for the 90 and very impressed with the quality. The circular rear guard that's on there will be coming off and cannot really see the point of them, unless u like going backwards over stuff!

    sloppy defender gearchange

On our new defender the gear selection/change is less than positive. It this something that can be sorted by changing/renewing anything in turret housing etc? Or is this just a characteristic of an '85 defender? I don't expect it to be brand new but a little more positive would be nice!

    2" lift kits

Guys - want to fit a lift as the old beast is old & never been touched but can you just fit springs & shocks or do you have to fit the castor correction arms/trailing arms etc. as suggested in some of the aftermarket kits. I appreciate the must be some benefit( exactly what I am unsure) but to...
