well after getting the rear diff and vcu changed on my td4 sport its looking like the clutch has gone. spongey pedal it drives but its at the garage now. any idea's of costs anybody:confused:

us a heat gun on bumpers that are going grey the colour comes back and then us linseed oil after works every time.:)

would be interesting to find out if its possible to retro fit sensor so you can outside temp or just listen out for the FBH then you know its below 5 degress if its still working:rolleyes:

hi all
have a FBH in my freelander sport looking at retro fitting a webasto tele start and timer if i can find the right one. have various pdf of webasto info. is it possible to use T91 tele start kit and remote or has it got to be a T70 kit any info would be a great help thanks:)

just a quick question i have a 54 plate freelander sport. i have seen one with a genuine spare wheel cover the one with the land rover badge in the middle and the 3 plastic strips a bit like the bodykit they do. i believe they do them in 16 or 17 inch but my sport has 18 wheels yet seen...

well been on here a few weeks posted a hello and also about the 150 miles after private purchase of my freelander TD4 the rear diff exploded:eek:. Anyway found a recon diff and new vcu for the freelander. So after getting it all stripped out i had to go back to work. So a local garage...

Quick update well new VCU unit and bearings and full recon diff fitted:D. its alive again its been about 6 miles so far and then had all the levels checked again seems to be ok touch wood:rolleyes:. big thanks to matt for finishing it off for me as I'm working away at the moment. So gets picked...

Hope so just waiting for the recon diff and new vcu and bearing to turn up. Big thanks to Matt for lending me a ramp to get the diff out and prop and vcu. Will let you know I get on with it and when it's back on the road. Been very lucky on EBay at the moment. Found a parcel self and sun blinds...
