hi guys , finally traced my "muted stereo" problem to the amp (i think), sound comming from tweaters and mid speeakers but no sound from bottom door speakers. checked all connections on left side of boot and found amp plug damp and corroded , removed amp and that also shows signs of...

i am also having problems with my radio , lost amp input now all sound , can you tell me where the amp is in the boot please. regards dave

as of this morning the radi has given in all together , now has no sound and will not display radio/stations on screen , still got comp and sat nav , am i right in thinking that the top of the dash lifts of for access to the rear of radio unit ?

volume seems to be o.k , don't know if it effects the cd as the cd will not eject , so don't use it.as regards your comment about the fuse , i will check. thanks for your advice :)

hi guys , yesterday when first turned ignition on "stereo sounded funny" (the wifes terminology , not mine) for a few seconds then returned to normal. then she reached her destination and turned ignition off , everything still good , however upon return and ignition switch on " stereo...

o.k get what your'e saying but how come once eas was back on and working noise went , eas inactive warning now back on and eas not working and noise / slip re accurs instantainiously ? :confused:

could it be the steering angle sensor , and what is one ? :confused:

what is a can bus error ? :confused:
