going well, i got my box of rivets out earlier. there was 247 left.. nahh im joking, i can only go up to 10.

exactly. thats how i diagnosed it. as EVERYONE knows... or doesent because its rivet counting stuff, 4th gear on an LT77 is direct drive i.e. input locks to output and drive transmits straight through bypassing the layshaft :)

adjusted all brakes, replaced headlights, removed timing chest to replace a gasket, checked all wheelbearings and swivels, fixled slight coolant leak, and fabbed a light bar for mates 90. nice!

when you get a turbo on it. see if you can get a 2.5"bore exhaust. thats the standard size for a TDI and chokes the engine a lot less. otherwise the turbo will struggle to spool up quickly and youll also loose top end boost.

im on goodyear wrangler MTRs and while they are quite an expensive tyre (i got them on offer at 90 a corner) they are great on wet grass, pay and play sites, on the road and in the snow. they also wear well. but not aswell as the trac edges your on as i dont think any tyre will wear that well...
