The oil was fine as it had only been changed along with the filter 4 weeks approx before adding Dr Trannys magic mix. Since adding the anti shudder mix the vehicle has behaved well except for when you go for an overtake and kick down then there is a very loud thump.

Hi All I have used the suggeted Dr Tranny shudder fix and it has taken some of the shudder out. Question this time is do I use it again to try and improve things even more or is this as good as its likely to get. Kickdown thump is still there but I intend to follow Bembles advice on...

No the Sat Nav working perfectly no sign of any flickering and the hand brake works perfectly well.

Cheers for that and hopefully that is the problem solved. I'll let you know.

Hi It seems to be 3rd and 4th and possibly higher gears as well because when it goes to fault mode ie Limited gears available It feels as if its grabbed 5 or 6.

Hi all and a happy new year. My TDV8 3.6 2007 is playing up when changing gear. It looks like I am now destined to replace a gear box. What my question, to all the knowledge on Landyzone is where do I start looking for a replacement/reconditioned one. All advice gratefully accepted.:confused:

Have just returned from a auto electrician who has enlightened me to how best I can take this forward. The answer is a parrot system as the 2007 RR that I have is outdated re blue tooth etc. At least now i know and thanks for the suggestions.

Good point I'll do that now. I believe your right about the cradle and in that case is there anything else I could do to have it working.
