The engine wouldn't crank at all if the spider was at fault.

I run 245 x 70 x 16 on my v8 & they just touch the radius arms on full lock. I still need to adjust the steering lock bolts to stop this.
Apart from that, they fill the arches out a treat.

I had the same problem a few months ago.
Firstly, chuck the easy start away, it's better saved for old diesels :D
I read that you've changed the rotor arm, does it have a big "brass rivit" on the top ?
If so, put it in your hand & throw it away as far as you can !
They're fine when new...

I had the same prob with water coming in the sunroof winder. Replaced the front sunroof seal, £10 from L/R dealer & 10 min job to replace.
Just had a heavy shower here & its dry as a board.
Just the rear one to change now......which is not leaking, but for the price, isn't gonna break the...

It says in the handbook 10w40, but if its done 163k, i'd use something a bit thicker like 15w50

Take it back to the dealer mate. If its the same leak, they should replace the regulator foc !

Sounds like the pump, but i'd change the fuel & air filter first, ( cheaper to replace ) pour some diesel magic down its throat & take it for a good blast.

I'm looking for the same, but without the lift. I wanna use Bilstien or koni's but unsure about the springs. I have already ordered the polybush kit too, just to tighten things up & stop it floating about the road.

Yep, as long as you're stationary at the time. Should be enuff to keep the linkage free.
