It says in the handbook 10w40, but if its done 163k, i'd use something a bit thicker like 15w50

Take it back to the dealer mate. If its the same leak, they should replace the regulator foc !

Sounds like the pump, but i'd change the fuel & air filter first, ( cheaper to replace ) pour some diesel magic down its throat & take it for a good blast.

Is there an easy way of freeing off the diff lock linkage ? Mine doesn't want to move when you push the lever to the left. I think its probably seized due to lack of use, but i don't want to be too hamfisted, force it & totally bugger the linkage. Never had anything to do with the diff lock...

I wouldn't buy any of those, unless i could go & check them over first. You'd be better off looking at the auto trader, online & get something local to you. Why not look at the FOR SALE section in here.
