    Accelerator wont work in gear.

Think you are on the right track with the pressure switch and the failed ones that I have seen have been failing to switch the pump on (as per yours). Not sure how you have done your checks but I would confirm where the problem is by checking to see if the pressure switch is sending a gnd signal...

    front wiper problem

When you switch the wipers off, the becm continues to power the wiper motor until the becm sees a gnd signal from the park switch (in the wiper motor). so using a voltmeter check to see if the becm receives this gnd signal ie voltmeter will show 0 volts. When wiper is not in park position, this...

    P38 strange one !

And presumably you no longer have a "P" in your instrument pack. as in Prndl. sorry could not resist that.

    front wiper problem

Sure? I don't have a P38 and I might be wrong, but I thought that the wipers self parked when the ignition/aux were switched off.

    Which Temp Sensor

If problem goes away when you leave the AFM connector off and also when you disconnect the plug and plug it back in, then I believe you issue is caused by a fault on the AFM “circuit”. I’m more familiar with other injection ecus and these will lock out the AFM for the duration...

Engine knocking under acceleration help please

. Not sure that this is the best thing to do for a catalyst engine with O2 sensors. My vote would be on exhaust leak.

    Which Temp Sensor

Found this site which might be useful for you. Lucas 14CUX Fuel Injection System ? Installation and Diagnostic Notes. Try running the engine and when warm, disconnect the AFM and drive for ~50metres and see if it drives as well as when you do a reset with the AFM. I still suspect that the...

BECM not going to sleep ( it's not the r/f receiver )

One slight problem, the becm will go to sleep if any of the doors or tailgate/ bonnet is open or closed, locked or unlocked. The key in message is easiest way to see if becm is going to sleep or not, a faint glowing LED on the H gate is to next easiest If you are in P then the P LED will glow...

    Which Temp Sensor

One thing that it's not is the crank sensor as the 3.9 did not have one!. I had the same problem as you with my 3.9 and the engine was fine when the airflow meter was disconnected as the 14CUX ecu then uses the throttle pot to control the fueling. Disconnecting the AFM does not actually reset...

    Temperature Gauge

Buy a resistor between 25 & 50 ohms (for a petrol engine this will give a vertical needle position) and use it in place of the temp sensor. If you have a green temp sensor correct it between the 2 pins of the harness connector. If you have a single wire sensor connect the end of the resistor to...

    jap import (speedo)

Sorry if I confused you, Change the Ipack to a UK one, but when you are using a Nanocom to clear the ODO error message on the Ipack, don't be tempted to try and switch the becm to a UK market setting. This will enable the the EKA system (Japanese vehicles did not use the the EKA system). Do a...

    jap import (speedo)

No need for a convertor the kph & mph Ipacks recieve the same signal from the ABS via the becm. There is a market setting in the becm for Japan but this does nothing for the odometer. You will get the odometer error message when you fit the pack and this can be cleared normally at a dealer (I...
