Thanks. For further info, I checked the level of the ATF, going through the correct procedure, and I’ve put around a litre plus in. The M&S lights extinguished and cleared the code. 12 hours later, the M&S lights are back with the same fault code.
My 2002 disco td5 has the solenoid s/c or o/c message on the Nanocom. I’m assuming that the solenoid is defective. Is the solenoid easy to access/change without taking the box off? Thanks.
Afternoon. A couple of questions relating to the ACE system on my 2002 Disco. The gaiter needs replacing, so do I have to spend £140 on the correct tool to be used once or is there another way? Secondly, is the bush between the ram and the roll bar pressed in ? Thanks

It was red. I loosened the bolt in question just to make sure and it was definitely red. There didn’t appear to be any contamination with what I understand to be transfer box oil.
Afternoon all. My 52 plate dumped a load of transfer fluid this morning. On investigation, it appears that there was a loose bolt on the transfer box. My query is why would there be transmission fluid in the transfer box.
