Probably a daft question, but my motor is elsewhere as I sort a replacement tub out. I'm swapping the supports with replacements, is moving these back/ forward a few cm to fix into new fixing holes critical to the fit to the chassis? Cheers

If they are steel land rover wheels they will fit. The only exception would be 101 wheels which have six studs

Bigger wheels as mentioned above, lifting the body\chassis does nothing to lift the axles and diff out of the way

It's a houseboat, moored up behind Broad St, Birmingham. I would imagine you would have to take that off to get it under the bridges, but it hasn't moved for years I believe.

O/D once moving, with clutch as per normal gear change in third or fourth, never first or second. I would check all fluids as a matter of course
