just done the same thing the new radio had all the leads i needed just bought the keys to remove old radio and an aerial adapter. like wise stay clear of halfords go to an independent they guided me on what was needed halfords wanted fifty notes for five minutes work.

cheers hope this is what your saying and the extra pressure on the engine is blowing the left over oil and crud out of the cooling system.

hi, i have a td4 on a 2000 plate just had new oil cooler fitted the header tank is clear on day to day running around up to temp but the minute i start towing the trailer or caravan i get an oil like scuze at the top of the tank any ideas?

Don't get me started , were is that soap box.

I us mine for towing an ifor williams at work its great just allow extra room a little bit more care on the rd. the best thing is you can see over the top of the trailer when reversing so it make that a lot easier. good luck.

every chance it's a td4 i have an x reg its a late 2000 model, good punt for that money, even just to break down i have a parts list already.:)

Hi, hope someone can help i have 2 almost new mitchelin xpc 195/80 r15 tyres on the back of my freelander and 2 goodyear wranglers on the front that need changing im struggling to find the xpc what would be a good replacement for the front tyres. i also have an xpc thats part warn as my spare...

my bad missed the fl2 bit :)

you could try cleaning the egr and then remove the small pipe from the egr (put a small screw in the pipe and rose tie out of the way)this will disable the valve and not allow exhaust gases to recirculate.

Hi, Now need to get this oil cooler sorted oil in header tank seems to be increasing just wanted to check whats best just changing the gasket or is it more likely to be the cooler unit it self. GS TD4 many thanks

good point cheers its black in coolant tank feels like tacky paint but most probable oil and yes i know its not paint just has that consistence over oil hoping to find out how to change oil cooler. every thing else seems ok running well all other freelander probs seem under control for now fully...
