    Cummins powered 90 (Well nearly)

Truly building my dream. I always imagined a 130 twin axled beast like that merc amg thing the australian army use. Twin stacker exhaust an ship horn. Lol

How to - Land Rover 90 TD to Discovery 200TDi Engine Conversion

Its worth finding a defender 200tdi. Hard but well worth it. Even better if you can find one with gearbox still attached

To Buy or Not To Buy!

Another point. A 90's towing legal limit is 3000kg 110 3500kg. So if she's moving a big horse or two be over 90 axle limit.

To Buy or Not To Buy!

Thing with buying a defender is you really need someone who knows what they are looking at to give it the once over. The chassis can be a weak point as they rust. Doors too. If you post on here where the vehicle is usually someone with knowledge will offer (maybe for beer/fuel money) to come...

A few do. But most people wouldn't use such a cast vehicle off road in this country. Our off road spaces are too tight, bushy/scratchy for anyone to consider. Places with wide open spaces like US, australia and middle east would. So sand and dust resistance.

oil leaking out of flywheel housing (200tdi conversion (

Did you fit the engine to the gearbox already in situ or did engine and gearbox get coupled outside and then go in together? Sometime if you are putting in separate its hard to get it perfectly true and the joint not under strain
