    Oil Temp Sender location

Anyone able to give me some idea where to look for my oil temp sender? I know its got one, as it was working before I had the engine loom replaced. (Also connected the guage up to the water temp sender (Cylinder head), and confirmed I've got the right wire.) I've found the water temp in...

    identifying wheel hubs..

will try and get some photos taken. a few ppl have pointed me to the swivels, however the free play is totally removed for a week or two after replacing the bearings...so think it is likely to be in that area, dunno though. Guess its just a case of start checking and replacing parts til the...

    identifying wheel hubs..

Is there anyway of identfying what hubs I need?? Tried two so far, first one seemed to have 3/8 bolts...mine has M10. Second one the space between the bearings is too small, by over an inch. (ie outer bearing is inset from the threaded portion of the stub axle by about an inch!!!) Landy is a...

    Fuelling problem?

Thanks Griff. You guessed correctly 1986 2.5 NA. (Ex-Mod) No smoke at all, except tiny bit on startup from cold. Air filter changed last month, along with oil, and the rest of the fluids. Not changed the fuel filter yet, so hopefully try and get my hands on one this afternoon. I think the...

    Fuelling problem?

Symptoms: Initially at high speed (well 55 mph :o ), and going up hill, the engine would suffer from what felt like a misfire, just occasionally missing a beat. Accompanied by a more "bass" tone to the exhaust note. Breakdown recovery, said HGF, and towed it home. Pressure tested, no sign of...

    Brake Pedal goes soft...

Thanks Jim, think you might have hit the nail on the head. I will test Servo, but pretty sure I noticed it sink when engine is started. However, I've also picked up a slight steering wheel vibration, so could also point to loose front wheel hub. Was also informed by the previous owner that...

    Brake Pedal goes soft...

I’ve got a small issue, in the fact my brake pedal appears to go soft at the most inopportune moments… It appears to be very intermittent, however, always works on the second “pump”. Also from time to time, when momentarily sat with foot on the brake, foot...

    Ground points

Hi can anyone point me in the right direction to find my ground points? Particulary the one that acts as ground to the fuel guage\oil temp and water temp. All these guages failed on me this morning, check ground continuity between all guages which was ok. Traced it back to a bullet...
