Hi, could be a number of things, do you lose power on pull of then work fine until you stop at a junction, as you pull away you loose all power - like you are in the wrong gear?

After a lot of searching and testing you won't believe me ...... Prop bearings, I ruled them out as I replaced them as a matter of course when I did the clutch ! All good now, just got to sort the map sender :-(

Hi thanks for the reply, I can fid my way around the engine but when it comes to 4x4 running gear I'm lost- all I have done so far is check wheel bearing and made sure nothing had come loose - I was not sure if you needed blanking plugs for the box and diff, but if you can take the prop off...

It's on the head, they are prone to fail, type it in on google and pics u will see how to get to it, try disconnecting , ifvitvruns better chances are that's the place to start, don't leave it disconected though, burns a lot of fuel

Hi, not sure I'm no expert but check crank case breather,mac snsr and egr - all prone to cause problems, also a known loom where water gets in to a section of the loom but this can be an expensive repair as the loom needs to be striped back to the ecu. Try changing breather filter and cleaning...
