Tosh,tosh,tosh, Sorry mate but i have to disagree with everything you have just said. I own a p38 2.5 td and i tow an ifor 510 trailor with horses in it at times. I would love to be able to put a rope between the cars and have a tug of war. The diesel would eat the petrol alive.:)

CHECK FOR WIRE LOOSE BEHIND DOOR PANEL. IF OK PUT TEST METRE ONTO CONNECTOR AND OPERTAE SWITCH. If no voltage movement then switch knackered if voltage movement then window motor knackered

Keep Compresor Filters Clean Check For Leeky Airbags, As They Will Burn Your Compresor Out After I While If You Dont Replace Leeking Parts. Other Than That I Think You Have To Suck It And See. Dont Fix What Aint Broke.
