I think it might well have been them that I got my wife's cover from. I just sent them a picture that I had and I used a colour chart to roughly match the paint colour.

I bought my wife a wheel cover with a picture of her horse on it many years ago. The car has gone but she has now used the cover as garden art. You send the firm a picture and they manufacture a long lasting wheel cover.

I suppose they adhere to the data protection act legislation. They would probably claim that they are monitoring the car for safety reasons rather than the driver. Spooky though.

When the nut first slackens and when replacing nut, I find it easier to reach by lying with my head to the front of the car and turning away from the starter so that I can reach behind with my right hand. Probably because I don't have long arms.

On a manual the top nut is easy enough from the bottom. You just need the right length extension. The distance between the tip of the socket and the back of the extension driver needs to be between 19 and 20 cm.

If there was no signal from the crank position sensor then it wouldn't run but I am not sure of the effect of a corrupted signal. Perhaps a diagnostic unit might shed some light on other possible faults.
