What did you do with your Range Rover today

I fitted a new thermostat to my '92 3.9efi today and it cured my slow warm up problem .Whilst I was there I removed the plastic grill from the decker panel to see if my heater resister was there or not. It was , so at least it will be easier to change than the one in the blower motor housing ...

I jacked up the whole car onto axle stands and removed all the wheels to assist with access to the bleed nipples.

Could be, only I hadn't noticed it like that before I carried out the work on the brakes.Maybe I am more conscious of it now and it was like that before.Cheers.

    ABS brake question...

I have also done a system bleed after replacing pipes, and my ABS pump seems to run after two pedal presses. The manual says rebleed in this case , but my brakes are working fine , and I also did an emergency stop the day after I bled it , and it stopped perfectly. So, should I leave as is ?

    lockable cubby box ?

jwm, I see your lockable lid , and was aware of that type , but I meant the later type fitted about 1987 onwards. The one in the ebay photo (last one) looks to have been fitted into the front edge, and i have never seen anything like it before.

    new problem with lpg

The vaporizer needs hot water from the cooling system to change it from liquid gas to gas , so check water pipes. You can also do a test to see if the diaphragm is split in the vapoizer by removing the pipe from the stepper motor and sucking down the pipe. If resistance is felt then it is ok.If...

So what should I do first?

I replaced the rear quarter on my '92 classic , which involved removing the rear wing to get to some of the nuts and bolts . Some pop rivets have to be drilled out on the inner edge of the quarter panel , and the replacement re-rivetted. I managed to let the wing rest on the floor with the...
