Hi all, is the throttle position sensor spring loaded. I have a 2002 Freelander 1.8 petrol. Had problems with the 3 amigos.

I replaced the cam sensor as it was showing error code. That code is cleared now and not returned. I took off the throttle position sensor as I know this can cause the 3 amigos to come on, is this supposed to be spring loaded as it was not, after cleaning it and reconnecting the wires it has...

Thanks for reply but I only wanted to find out if it was a bolt or stud. It was stripped down and getting dark. Job done now.

Hi, just found your post, having similar problems as you had, was the bottom bolt just a stud or was there a nut on it and did you get it from underneath.

Hi all, having problems removing lower bolt on starter motor on 2002 1.8 freelander 1. Is it removed from top or underneath or through wheel arch.
