Okey. But I was wondering how picky it is, cause I got oils changed couple of weeks ago, and they put syntax ls 75w-140 oil in the rear diff, I was just wondering if the noise is because of that? I phoned them and they will look up why they used that oil

Do you mean 80w-90 because I couldn't find a straight 80w? Is it how picky about that rear diff oil?
-
B
Hi, is there any specific oil you should use for the rear diff and in the IRD? I live in Finland, so temperatures change from +30 Celsius to - 30 Celsius.

I had a feeling that they might be the support bearings. I could change those and the oil.

Hi my fellow freelander lovers, I have a problem with my 2004, 1.8 petrol facelift freelander. It has started making a wierd noise, It sounds like some spinning/howling sound. It starts when you start moving, it's worst at 20-40km/h and starts stopping at 65-95km/h or I just don't hear it so...

Yeah, probaply. But I got a new props haft with the joint

Hi, car is now repaired. The broplem was the first cam shaft that went from IRD to VCU. The ball bearings were broken from the IRD side
