if you are doing just the body panels then nitromoors works a treat. if you are doing the chassis then i would recommend getting a mobile grit blaster to do it for you. I had my chassis and bulkhead blasted with great results...

i've been in contact with a local paint suppliers they reckon gravitex stonechip protector is the best stuff because its textured and hard as nails........you can also overpaint it. Plus its cheapest option.

Just a quick question about spray on load liner stuff, I have seen it for sale but i can't remember where. Does anyone have an experience of this stuff? Is it any good? Does it actually protect the tub from damage during heavy duty use?

im afraid repair panel never quite go far enough.
i've just done alot of welding to my series 3's bulkhead i didnt both with any repair panels though. i used a mig with an inert gas feed. it works well when you welding thinner metal.

i have one brown wire (small female spade) which has no location on the back of the ignition switch. i think im gonna have to get out the multimeter at the wkend and trace the wires. i am trying to find another diagram because the haynes one doesnt seem to match up too well. any help greatly...
