Flexible Exhaust?

Hi,

Im in the process of restoring my series 3 109 (see some of my pictures so far in the gallery). I am doing a few improvements such as adding tractor silencer to vent in front of the rear wheel. However i now need link up the manifold to the silencer and i would like to use metal flexi pipe section. Does anyone know where i can source a suitable pipe. it needs to have an internal diameter of 65mm.

yeah i can weld something but i was just looking for abit of flex in the system. thanks

i had a princess(austin) many moons ago and i was forever putting beer/bean cans round the factory fitted flexible bit in the exhaust system. it lasted between 6 and 9 months before it started blowing, with a beer can round it about 7 months.. and a baked bean can lasted about a year or so. so to save yer self having to drink or fart too much just to keep yer exhaust from blowing i'd tell you, to just made a bit up cos the flexys are more trouble than they are worth. immho

I was at local kwackflit today havin a cat and tyres fitted on my company heap and looked in the skip there were a few in there it maybe worth a look an costs nowt...hope this helps cartman690...
