    clutch problem

I have been forced to put a new clutch in my TD5. It was also a gearbox out job and i was quoted €1000 for part and labour. I was told it will be another €500 if the flywheel needs replacing. €1000 is about £640. Does that sound right to you? what were you quoted?

    HELP! Discovery 2 boot lock

I had this problem. It was actually the rear door handle. If you prize out the Land rover logo on the back handel and spray some WD40 on to the mechanism it will loosen up the door lever. Hope that helps. Regards Bazza

    'scratch' removal assistance please

Auto Glym sell a scratch remover but these are no better than what you might find in Halfords. Removing a scratch requires polish on top of polish on top of polish. This is a gradual process and can take some time. You have to ask yourself if it is worth doing this on something like a disco.

    TD5 Misfire

Sounds to me as if you need a new injector. Mine had exactley the same problem. I had it replaced last week and it sorted the problem immediatley. The whole job cost me £600.
