Just went out to start my land rover discovery 2.5tdi n reg,steering lock has been sticky but appears to be stuck now therefor cannot turn ignition any ideas.

Help i have a starting problem on my n reg dicovery tdi,it is completly random one minute it starts the next it doesnt when it doesnt there is no noise from the starter, i have just replaced the starter at a cost however problem still there the problem is it could start for the next 2 weeks or 2...

movement sensor removed as per rattys advice,it appears problem solved cheers.

ta for all your replys esp Ratty,is the removal of the movement sensor straight forward and will it set off the alarm on removal.
