Thanks Hoopfish. Horsebox insurance sorted the horsebox and then recovery recovered the Range Rover! Long winded but I was sure I had it all covered! Now to find out whats wrong with the suspension. Its now on bump stops and wont rise Grrrr.

Hi Bob Any way you can help me? My other half her friend one child horsebox and horse stuck on Polhill nr Sevenoaks. EAS fault with all lights on and lopsided so not good for towing! Needs a plug in. Reliance recovery didn't have diags and wouldn't tow the horsebox 5miles so no help!

Anyone in sevenoaks area with eas diags? P38 suspension fault 3 girls in the vehicle with a horsebox and horse! Recovery co dont have diags and wont recover the horsebox! Grrr

As stated the issue is with the timing chain cover, the oil pump is attached and comes with.

Go check the price of a timing chain cover...come back and report it.....think you will find the saving is well over £700 in this instance!!

Nope, they said they couldn't get one from their usual suppliers. They told me a new part was not viable and were more than happy to fit a part if I could source one. Anyway, its done now not a huge amount I can do about it!

Nope, that was cracked by another garage when the headgasket was done and glued up!! Well I can only presume that was done at that point, unfortunately its impossible to prove

Its not pressurising, I assume it has not been run for long, but I will ask!

My mechanic suggested that he could open the pump up to check something however this may invalidate the warranty with the supplier. I obviously didn't get to ask emmotts this as they had hung up on me. The annoyance is the labour cost in it all.
