    Fed up?

I've realised what it is that made me consider selling, now I've been in it on my own again for a few weeks I love it, I even stare at it out of the window from time to time... The Mrs being in it is like the proverbial devil on my shoulder whispering (loudly over the engine!) about being...

    Door bottom repair costs??

Your work looks fantastic! I'd be happy if mine ended up like that but I've never welded and wouldn't be confident just having a go! Mechanical stuff I'm happy to try at (with my mechanic mate to using over watch!) but I'd worry I'd ruin bodywork!

    Door bottom repair costs??

Hi, the door bottoms could do with sorting on my 110 front doors, I know I can buy the repair sections from YRM and wondered if anyone could tell me if they've had theirs repaired at a garage and what to expect to pay? And will the door skin need repainting afterwards? Cheers

    Fed up?

Well I think it was post holiday blues, I plan to make a few improvements without spending a fortune, a little insulation and carpeting and a few other jobs and see how I feel about it. I never doubted it would make the journey to Skye and back and do feel I'm getting to know it a little...

    Fed up?

Thanks for the replies, I've been a member for ages but mainly read and gather info! Yeah it's the noise and the comfort and the economy, and the worry that something will always need doing, all things I was aware of when I got it, but was like a kid in a sweet shop when I picked it up! The...

    Fed up?

does any one else just get fed up with the defender from time to time? I've only had it a short while but after a recent long journey (1500 miles up to Skye and back - with a bit of touring around) I simply can't stand the thought of another long journey in my 110, and the Mrs is demanding I...

    new project 110

Love these project threads! Wish I had more time and enthusiasm for mine, think I've fallen out with my 110, it'll be up for sale soon, don't know if I'm gutted or relieved...

    Fuel tank sender seal

Hi, I have a leaky seal around the fuel tank sender unit on my 300tdi 110, I've ordered the new seal and locking ring and wanted to know if the tank has to come off to fit the new seal and o ring or can it be done by just removing the back wheel? Any advice greatly received!

What year was the 110 utility first produced?

I'll try get some pics on tomorrow! G-mark does yours have bars on the wheel arches? Inside the van back on top of the wheel arches I have black bars that look almost like a small roll cage support or something similar, wondered if they were standard or possibly if they're fitted to a pick...
