Hi, I have a leaky seal around the fuel tank sender unit on my 300tdi 110, I've ordered the new seal and locking ring and wanted to know if the tank has to come off to fit the new seal and o ring or can it be done by just removing the back wheel? Any advice greatly received!

The logbook shoes it as grey so the respray has been recorded correctly. Checked the vin decoder thingy but don't believe it's specific as to what variant of 110 the car is. Once I get the v5 back I'll write to the old keeper and ask him... Thanks for the replies!
