    Disco 2 Nanocom NCOM02 Purchase

Just remember that it stores all the faults until somebody clears them ! First time I looked at mine I got a real shock but most of them were historical. So clear them all, take it for a drive and then check again. Saves you fixing a problem that doesn't exist !

    D2 brake failure advice please...

Just make sure that the pipe is clipped properly. Paid some one £150 to do my pipes and about 4 months later and 2 hours before my wife was due to tow a horsebox the brakes were spongey. Looked underneath and found that they hadn't been clipped in and the new pipes had been crushed. Ended up...

VDO dayton MS3100 satnav - it works :D

I have the 5100 installed and bought a cheap camera off ebay and plugged this into the socket that looks like a 3.5mm jack. Mine seems to eat batteries though. Only reason I don't use mine all the time as a reversing camera is that you have to turn on the sat nav before it shows up.

Are these the 3 amigos? HDC, TC, ABS?

Sounds like the 3 amigo, best bet is to get it plugged in and read. It could be a hub or the svs (shuttle valve switch).

    dvd player

Your other option is a hard wired FM modulator I have one in my car and I switch it on and the radio tunes to the correct frequency. I use mine for an iPod but it used to be connected to the TV/DVD in the car.

I have to say that Sierrafery is one of the most knowledgeable people that I know about the D2 and has saved me a fortune over the 15 months with his and other peoples views and experience. Please ignore the comments from the newbie. Thank you Sierrafery for all your help.

    Car "Sits Down" occasionally

Mine was like that, stayed up for weeks on end but parked at a funny angle and it was bottom down. After fighting the urge I replaced the bag and guess what, no more bottom sagging !

Discovery 2 No Traction Control, ABS or HDC

I believe that when you put in a new dashboard it will reset to the higher mileage value of either the old or new dash, so make sure that you get a new dashboard with lower mileage than your current. Apparently no way round it.

Re the airbags, they seem fine, but do notice they deflate if I sit in the back when parked and the engine off, but inflate quickly once the engine is turned on. Will prob change them later this year. I think that you will find this is normal and nothing to do with the airbags being faulty.
