Hi, I'm looking for parts for my overdrive either new or used and in working condition.
Coupling Sleeve (RTC7228) and Or Overdrive Lay Gear (RTC7237)
-
Anyone have one of these.

Part Number. RTC7228
If you have an LT95 Fairy Overdrive lay gear I would also be interested in.
Thanks

I've seen in another forum that these two might be related. ERC3443P and ERC5462. ERC3443P is listed as the aftermarket version?

Hi, I thought I was at the end of this project but ..... I have noticed a wobble in the crank pulley. Its not very pronounced, but it is there. The engine is pretty old so I'm thinking the harmonic balancer is at the end of of its life. I will take it off to inspect it later. Is a special tool...

Oh, forgot to mention, we adjusted the idle on the carbs. They were wide open. Idle is now do down to 600-700 rpm.

The engine seems to run great with the current timing. However I do get the odd spark jumping from the coil output to the negative terminal of the coil. This only seems to happen when the engine is hot. I have switched to non resistor spark plugs. I put this down to a bad ground on the engine...

Hi James, I'm not even adjusting the dizzy. This is observing the advance with the timing light. I've read that the Rover V8 should have around 15 degree's mechanical advance. Indeed mine does, but it advances to the left in the direction of the above ATDC anti-clockwise. I thought it would...

Ok, I have reset everything to what I think it is. I will post some pic's tonight.

Hi, I'll try and best explain this.
Originally on my pulley wheel there was no timing marks, except for a white line marking TDC. I bought after market tape so I could set the timing with what I hoped was a bit more precision. In the mean time the engine was fitted with new piston rings.
On my...

Sorry about that. Here's the video.
As you can see, there's a clear pipe running from the bottom of one of the carbs.

Thanks, I thought there was a connection between air intake (detox engine version) that I have (1983 One Ten V8 3.5) and the fuel that sometimes leaks from the carb. I have one of these on front of my engine. Its called a fuel trap. I suspect that this is where the fuel goes. I just don't know...

Hi, can anyone tell me what this part actually does?
https://www.landroverworkshop.com/diagrams/fuel-emission-systems/fuel-air-inlet-systems/air-temperature-control-to-%28v%29-ma962814_53463
It's connected to the bottom of the one of dual carbs. The carb every so often leaks some fuel into the...

Thanks Scooby, I have a guy who could actually make it. He makes replacement pulleys for old Ford's. I think it would be cheaper. Does anyone know where to get the original technical drawings for parts? I'm not so great at measuring existing parts. I haven't done any technical drawing in a long...

Hi, I have a cracked water pump pulley single grove. Part No ERC5707. They want a crazy price for it.

Does anyone know of an alternative or has one for sale.
