Hi, I thought I was at the end of this project but ..... I have noticed a wobble in the crank pulley. Its not very pronounced, but it is there. The engine is pretty old so I'm thinking the harmonic balancer is at the end of of its life. I will take it off to inspect it later. Is a special tool required to remove the pulley?

I posted a previous thread about crazy timing and i'm wondering if the actual damper is slipping.

The balancers part no is ERC5462. Its £500+ for a new one. I have seen that there is a company in the USA that can re-vulcanise the dampner.

Another option is Real Steels SFI Pro Race damper. It takes about spacers though so i'm not sure that it will actually work.

Any thoughts?
