The rear air bags aren't an issue foe me, it's all about maintenance good servicing. It was designed for rear airbags. Get the very latest and best one and leave as is, in my opinion. It's still a very classy vehicle.

Yup, I have had two and I currently have a Disco td5. The 300tdi is fairly bullet proof. Mine have all been family cars. Great for holidays with the kids too. I would thoroughly recommend one. £1500 will get you started with a decent Disco 1.
