What is the best way to test if the center diff lock is working. When i engage it the light doesn't come on. I have tested the lamp and there is no fault there. Any ideas.

I am looking for a 200tdi engine for my 1985 90. I have no experience of them so does anyone have any pointers when shopping around. I am considering buying a MoT failiure disco to pull the engine out of, any specifics to look out for? Also is putting a discovery transfer gear in best for econemy?

It is my truck/landy. Its my second 2.5NA diesel but this time i'm going for more power. I will get to 60mph!!!

Hi i am a new member to the site. I currently have a 1985 Land rover 90 2.5na diesel, my second. Anyone let me know of any problems with fitting a discovery 200tdi (defender varient is far too expensive)if you have any experience of this i would like to hear from you. Many thanks Chris
