removing the pully bolt is not easy, you will need some tool to lock up the shaft,

Thought I'd use the jamming a breaker bar between the control arm and flicking the starter motor method?

Changed the crankshaft pully today using the above method, and its a fix
, no more clattering, the old ones rubber had split on the inside......I just hope its on tight enough as could only tighten untill the engine turned over, tried to wedge a spanner in. The castle parts of the pully, which gave me a bit more resistance but not much, still seems ok so far
