Is it usual to have the 3 amigos illuminate (bong, bong, bong!) then once the vehicle is stopped & re-started to have the 3 amigos reset WITHOUT leaving the ABS light on until you drive off at more than 9 mph? I thought you have to do that, but not so with my friend's D2 TD5.

I cleared the fault for him (used a Hawkeye) it showed HISTORICAL, but then it happened just as he backed the car up. Again it the only ABS fault showing.

Does the SVS wiring fault introduce such anomalies as this - I know it triggers a few things. :bounce: I don't believe he's has the wiring mod done yet - couldn't see any evidence.

That thing with the ABS alone untill the vehicle exceeds 10mph is exclusively for the case when a wheels speed sensor related fault was registered cos the system keeps checking the sensor's outputs after ignition, for any other intermittent fault like SVS or others the 3 amigos will reset all on ignition cycle...that's certain cos that's how the protocol vas conceived. i've said that many times cos that's a simple way to figure out if it's sensor/hub issue or something else, not long ago i explained again ;) http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/3467455-post8.html
